The WBCHSE Board declared the West Bengal HS routine 2025 on 1st March 2025. The WBCHSE Exam 2025 is to be conducted between 3rd March 2025 - 18th March 2025 in offline mode.

WBCHSE (West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education) announced the WB Class 12 Result 2024 on 8th May at 1pm  during a press conference. The WBCHSE Result 2024 was published on their official website (wbresults.nic.in) at 3:00pm. The West Bengal High Secondary Result 2024 was declared for all the 3 streams (Commerce, Science, and Arts). Students need to enter their roll no. and date of birth to see their West Bengal 12th Class Result 2024. The scorecard includes the student's details and the marks secured in each subject. 

WBCHSE Result 2024: Highlights

• From the total no. of students appearing for the WBCHSE Exam 2024, 6,79,784 students qualified the exam which is 90% of the total no. of students.
• The number of students to take exam was 7,90,000.
• In all 7,55,324 students appeared for the Class 12 final board exam.
• The council announced that there was no instance of paper leak or misconduct witnessed during the WB 12th exam 2024. Later on, they added that 41 students in possession of mobile phones in the examination hall were reported and their candidacy was cancelled.
• 130 students took their exam from hospitals/medical institutions because of illness.
• The WBCHSE board president informed that the WB HS Result 2024 was announced on 69th day from the last examination date.
• Wrongdoings could be avoided due to the QR codes provided in QPs/Marksheets this year.
• No. of female students (91,838) was higher with respect to male students.

Tatkal Result Distribution Service

• Hardcopy marksheets along with passing certificates are provided at 55 centers which include the 4 regional Council offices. This service was ongoing from 10th May to 13th May for students who wanted to get their results revaluated. The Council announced that the revised marksheet will be given to them within 7 days.
• The West Bengal 12th Class Results 2024 and passing certificates will be having QR codes which when scanned will provide student details.

WB HS Result 2024: Revaluation

Students can request a revaluation of their WB 12th result in 2024 if they find their results unsatisfactory. Before the deadline set by the Board, students can submit applications online for the evaluation and inspection of their answer sheet. They must take the revaluation form from their schools and fill out the asked details in order to proceed. Before the deadline, students must submit in the completed form and the required payment to the appropriate school administration. Following the release of the West Bengal board high school results for 2024, the board will announce the deadline for revaluation applications. The West Bengal Revaluation results were made public by WBCHSE in July 2024.

WB HS Result 2024: Compartment

After the release of the West Bengal High School results 2024, students failing one or two courses will have another chance to qualify the WB HS Exam 2024. Students can avoid ruining an academic year by taking the compartment exam. Applying for this exam is possible through the relevant schools. Students need to obtain a form from the school and properly fill out the necessary information for that. Send the completed form to the appropriate school authorities together with the required payment. Compartment tests will be administered by WBCHSE, maybe in August or September of 2024. In September 2024, the West Bengal 12th class result for the same will be made public.
