Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam Passing Criteria
Students should score a minimum of 24 marks to pass the 2nd PUC board exam in the theory paper of 80 marks. If the student doesn't take any practical exam, internal exam or make any project/assignment submission then they need to get 35 out of 80 marks to pass the Karnataka 2nd PUC Board exams.
Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam Marking Scheme
The Karnataka 2nd PUC exam considers 20 marks for internal exam for the academic year 2023-24. The different subject teachers are responsible to give marks to students by evaluating them. The first along with second unit test as well as mid term exam carry 10 marks. The best among these will be done average on 10 marks. The left 10 marks are given on the basis of project/submission in the college. The marking scheme is as follows:
Project and writing - 5 marks
Presentation - 3 marks
Viva - 2 marks
Only major core subjects such as maths, economics, business studies, languages, etc carry 20 marks for internal exam. For other subjects like physics, electronics, biology, computer science, chemistry, hindustani music, home science, etc 70+30 marking scheme is applicable. This is the marking scheme for students taking the 2nd PUC Exam 2023-24 for the first time and are not private students. Students appearing second time for the exam or enrolled as private students need to take an exam of 100 marks question paper.
