TS PGECET Counselling Procedure 2023
Osmania University will release the TS PGECET counselling centres on the official web portal, and candidates can proceed to exercise web options after their verification is complete. This includes choice filling, which involves selecting a preferred university and seat. It is crucial for aspirants to be familiar with the TS PGECET counselling procedure, as described below.
Stage 1: Certificate Verification
TS PGECET counselling commences with certificate verification, which aspirants must attend on the designated date and time. The counselling procedure will be based on the candidate's ranking in the examination.
To register for TS PGECET counselling check the steps given below:
Step 1: Aspirants must meet the registration criteria at the assigned help centres.
Step 2: On the day of counselling, test takers must arrive at the counselling location and submit their rank cards to the personnel at the entrance gate.
Step 3: Upon payment of the counselling fee, aspirants will receive the registration form, which they must complete by filling in details such as their admit card number and ranking.
Step 4: Afterward, aspirants will be called up for document verification.
Stage 2: Web Counselling
After the certificate verification, aspirants must choose their preferred college or institution. The following are the steps to be followed by candidates for TS PGECET Web Counselling 2023:
- Candidates must first visit the official website and select the 'Admission Open' link.
- After reviewing the guidelines, they should click on 'Exercise TS PGECET Web Options' and enter details such as their TS PGECET 2023 hall ticket number, GATE/GPAT exam score and ranking, registered email address, and contact number.
- After submitting the required information, a new password will be sent to the aspirant's email address, which they can use to log in and participate in the counselling process.
Step 1: Choice Filling
- Once the aspirants have successfully logged in, they will need to choose their preferred college, district, course, and college code.
- To facilitate the selection process, filters will be provided based on the district and alphabetical order.
- After selecting the preferred college, aspirants must click on the ADD option to add it to their priority list.
- Once the priority list is finalized, they should click on the Save button, enter the password, and give their confirmation.
- Aspirants can then view their list in a printed format and should download it for future reference.
Step 2: Freezing Option
- Aspirants should note that they must complete their choice filling before 12:00 AM, as the option will be closed thereafter.
- The system will automatically freeze the seats based on the registered choices on the last day.
- Following this, the seat allotment process for TS PGECET will commence.
Step 3: Allocation of Seats
- The allocation of seats for TS PGECET will be based on the web counselling, and no changes can be made after the process is completed.
- Aspirants must exercise caution while selecting their preferences as the final allotment will be determined by their choices.
- It is advisable to take a printout of the seat allotment letter and proceed to the assigned college for the admission procedure.
