TS EAMCET Counselling 2023: Key Highlights
To enroll in undergraduate engineering/agriculture and medical courses at colleges and institutes across Telangana, candidates must participate in TS EAMCET counselling 2023, which involves applying for counselling, selecting preferred colleges, document verification, seat allotment, and reporting to the designated institution.
Only those candidates who have successfully cleared the exam will be eligible for TS EAMCET Counselling 2023. Counselling will be conducted based on the candidate's merit rank in the entrance exam and their score on the qualifying examination.
The weightage given to the entrance exam and the qualifying examination will be 75% and 25%, respectively. The qualifying examination score will be calculated using marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.

The deadline for cancelling provisionally allocated seats from Phases 1 and 2 will be revealed, and cancellation will be permitted exclusively via online mode. Candidates have the option to retain their provisionally allocated seats by following one of the methods listed below.
- They can either pay the admission fees online and report to the allotted college, or report to the college provisionally assigned to them and be exempted from paying the minimum fee.
- If a candidate eventually attends the allotted college after the special round, the fee will be refunded.
- However, if the candidate withdraws from the college allotted during the special round, they will be required to pay the tuition fee for the first year.
- All candidates except for SC/ST category, who are exempted from the tuition fee, must pay INR 10,000.

TS EAMCET Counselling Procedure 2023
Step 1: Processing Fee Payment
- Candidates need to visit the helpline centres as per their ranks for registration and to submit the required fee.
- To pay the fee, candidates must log in using their class XII exam hall ticket number, TS EAMCET registration number, and date of birth.
- Payment of the fee can only be made online using credit/debit cards or net banking.
- Candidates will not be able to register for certificate verification unless they have paid the processing fee.

Step 2: Documents Verification
Once the processing fee has been paid, candidates must present their documents for verification.
The verification process must be carried out in accordance with their ranks in TS EAMCET.
As part of the verification process, the candidates' Aadhaar details, including their fingerprint biometrics, will be cross-checked with UIDAI at the helpline centres.
Therefore, it is essential that all candidates are physically present during the verification process.
What are the documents required for TS EAMCET Counselling 2023?
The documents which are required for TS EAMCET Counselling 2023 are listed below:

- Transfer Certificate (T.C)
- Intermediate or its equivalent Memo-cum-Pass Certificate
- Income Certificate issued after 01.01.2018, if applicable.

- Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of Non-Local candidates.
- Physically Challenged (PH) / Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) / NCC/Sports / Minority certificate if applicable.

Step 3: Choice of Filling
During the TS EAMCET counselling process, candidates need to select their preferred colleges and courses in order of preference.
To do this, candidates must register and select their choices from the displayed options.
The order of preference must be from highest to lowest priority.
Candidates are allowed to choose as many options as they wish.
Once all options are selected, candidates must print out a copy of their choices for future reference.
Step 4: Seat Allocation
The TSCHE carries out the online seat allotment process for TS EAMCET counselling based on several factors such as candidates' choices, merit, category, local area, special reservation category, etc.
Once the seat allotment is completed, candidates will be informed of their status via SMS on their registered mobile number and can also check it online.
To view the allotment order, candidates must provide their ROC form number, TS EAMCET hall ticket number, password, and date of birth.
Step 5: Tuition Fees and Self Reporting
To confirm the provisionally allotted seat, candidates must pay the tuition fee as stated in the allotment order online (using credit card, debit card or net banking) and obtain the admission number.
If the tuition fee is shown as "0"
If candidates are shown a tuition fee of zero during the payment process, they will need to use the self-reporting system to accept their allotted seat.
Self-reporting involves accepting the seat and submitting original documents at the allotted institute.
By choosing this option, candidates can also participate in subsequent rounds of TS EAMCET counselling while retaining the allotted seat.
Once candidates click on “Accept my Joining”, the system will generate a joining report along with the admission number.
Candidates will need to take a printout of the joining report and submit it to the allotted college along with the allotment letter.
If the tuition fee is not shown as "0"
If tuition fees to be paid are not shown as zero, candidates must pay the fee online.
After payment, candidates must click on “Self Reporting System” and “Accept my Joining”.
The candidates' joining report and admission number will be generated, which must be submitted at the respective college along with the allotted letter.
Reporting to the College: The seat allotted to a candidate without submitting the original certificates/ documents must be reported to the reporting college immediately.
Participating in Subsequent Rounds: Candidates who have not yet participated in previous TS EAMCET counselling can participate as fresh candidates by attending certificate verification at one of the HLCs (Help Line Centers).
Seat Withdrawal: At the end of TS EAMCET Counselling 2023, candidates can cancel/ withdraw the allotted seat before the stipulated date for cut-off by approaching the Convener in person.
What is the process for recovering a password?
If a candidate can't remember their login information, they can follow these steps to retrieve their password:
Step 1: Click on 'Forget Password'.
Step 2: Provide the necessary information.
Step 3: Click on 'New Password'.
Step 4: Look for the new password in the registered mobile number and email.
TS EAMCET Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission through TS EAMCET, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold Indian citizenship.
- Reside in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
- Have completed 16 years of age by December 31, 2023.
- Have successfully passed the TS EAMCET exam.
TS EAMCET 2023: Tie-Breaking Rules
The following is the tie-breaking procedure for TS EAMCET 2023 for the engineering and agriculture courses:
For Engineering Course:
Marks obtained in TS EAMCET 2023 will be considered first.
Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be given priority on the merit list.
If a tie still exists, the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be placed higher.
If the tie persists after the first two steps, the candidate with a higher aggregate score in their qualifying exam will be given priority.
If none of the above steps resolve the tie, then the candidate who is older in age will be considered.
For Agriculture Course:
- Marks obtained in TS EAMCET will be considered first.

TS EAMCET Admission 2023: Cancellation
If a candidate wishes to cancel their TS EAMCET 2023 admission by withdrawing their allotted seat, the following scenarios may arise:
- If the seat is allotted before the first phase of counseling or the cut-off date for cancellation, and the candidate has paid the admission fee, they will receive a complete refund.
- If the admission is canceled after paying the tuition fee, the university colleges will refund the admission fee, while private unaided colleges will refund the entire fee.
TS EAMCET 2023: Help Line Centers
For the TS EAMCET Counselling process 2023, there will be approximately 38 Help Line Centres (HLCs) available for document verification and online options entry. Candidates seeking admission to professional courses through the exam should stay up to date with official updates and notifications from the Competent Authority.
