TNEA Counselling 2022: The conducting body released the provisional allotment of upward opted candidates in TNEA 2022 counselling round 2 on October 13, 2022. The schedule for TNEA counselling 2022 has been published on the official website by the conducting authorities. Because there will be no entrance exam in 2022, candidates will be admitted based on their class 12 results and the TNEA 2022 counselling process.
What is TNEA Counselling?
The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, organises the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) to admit applicants to the state's numerous engineering institutes. The students are called for counselling rounds based on their ranks, reservations, and preferences made on the merit list and universities as such, TNEA counselling for this year is taking place from September 10 to November 13, 2022.
Candidates are admitted to undergraduate programmes like Bachelors of Engineering (BE) and Bachelors of Technology (BTech) in Tamil Nadu colleges using the TNEA rank list. Candidates should note that the TNEA written exam has been cancelled because college places are now allocated based on TNEA rank rather than Class 12 marks, which are used for counselling. After the tentative TNEA allocation, candidates can change their preferences in their choices. The authority announces the TNEA final seat allocation results after a few days. Candidates who have been allocated seats in TNEA counselling must complete the online document verification and fee payment process.
