South Campus Colleges in Delhi University Overview

In order to meet the university's development, the University of Delhi developed the south campus in 1973. It moved to its current location on Benito Juarez Marg, near Dhaula Kuan, in 1984. The nearest Delhi Metro station is Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus. The Arts, Inter-disciplinary, Applied Sciences, and S.P. Jain Centre for Management Studies faculties host several departments. Despite the widespread assumption that North Campus is superior, South Campus has its own distinct attraction. The South Campus of Delhi University is located in South Delhi and is blessed with some of the greatest culinary outlets, making college life feel like heaven. The campus also has some of the greatest institutions in Delhi, with Sri Venkateshwara being a well-known college that competes with the colleges on the North Campus.

South Campus Colleges Eligibility Criteria

Before enrolling in various University colleges, students should determine their eligibility for Delhi University 2022. Admission to these programs will be based on merit or through entrance exams administered by Delhi University.  Candidates for Undergraduate Courses (Based on Merit) must have passed their 12th test from a recognized board.

Zakir Husain, founded in 1990, provides courses in Science, Commerce & Banking, Arts, and Management. Students can also use the hostel facilities. Other amenities include an AV lab, a mess, a library, medical facilities, and a computer lab.

Rajdhani College

Rajdhani College, located in Raja Garden, provides 19 courses in three streams: commerce and banking, arts, and science, as well as four degrees: BA, MA, and M.Com. There is no hostel offered here.

Maharaja Agrasen College

This college was founded in 1994 and is located in Mayur Vihar. It provides Media & Mass Communication, Commerce & Banking, Arts, Physical Education, Science, and Management courses. It is AICTE-accredited.

Lakshmibai College

Lakshmibai College is NAAC and UGC approved and is located in Ashok Nagar, providing studies in Arts, Commerce & Banking, Science, Management, and Performing Arts. It also provides diplomas in a variety of disciplines.

 

Kalindi College

East Patel Nagar, Central Delhi, is the location of this all-girls college. In 2013 and 2015, the college received the 'university award for exemplary practices' twice in a row. It provides courses in Science, Arts, and Business. Aside from the amenities that come with any college campus, Kalindi College has effective cyber cafés, a well-stocked library, and an infrastructure that meets the demands of both students and instructors.

Lady Irwin College

The Lady Irwin Institution Society's Memorandum of Association established Lady Irwin College as a constituent college for women at the University of Delhi. It is the country's main and model institution for Home Sciences education.
