The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, commonly known as SNAP is a national level entrance test conducted by the Symbiosis International University (SIU) for students aspiring for MBA / MSc (CA) / MSc (SS) programmes. The University has 15 Institutes under its affiliation, all of which sustain similar admission criterion for Management courses.
This year SNAP Exam will be conducted on December 16, 2018 for admissions in various Symbiosis Institutes.
SNAP 2018 will be conducted in around 102 cities across the country.

SNAP Marking Scheme:
SNAP consists of objective type questions having 4 responses for each. With each correct answer, 1 mark is given but negative marking avails. The duration of the test is 2 hours.
SNAP Eligibility Criteria:
- A candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 50% aggregate of marks. The candidates with SC/ST categories must have 45% marks in total for the same.
- The students who still are in their final year of bachelor's degree can also apply for SNAP.
SNAP Eligibility Criterion for Foreign Students:
The candidates who have completed their graduation from any foreign university must get their degree verified from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) before applying for any course in Symbiosis University.
Importantly, the eligibility criteria of some of the affiliated institutes vary from the general criteria. For example, the colleges like Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences (SSSS), Pune; or Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM), Pune, have different criteria of admissions and therefore, the students should check the same by visiting the individual official website(s) of the respective institutes.
Points to Remember:
- The mode of Examination and Application will be online.
- The candidates are allowed to select any Symbiosis Institute of their preference to pursue their degree.
- There is no age limit to appear for SNAP.
- The photograph required to upload for the application form shall not be more than 3 months old.
- No changes in the application form (except for city preferences) shall be allowed after the closing date of the same.
- The test fee is non-refundable.
SNAP Registration Process:
- Get yourself registered on the official SNAP test website, that is, https://www.snaptest.org/
- An e-mail after the registration will be sent to you regarding the login credentials.
- Log in and start filling the Application Form.
- Fill the relevant information asked and recheck once done.
The necessary documents required to be uploaded are:
- Candidate's Passport-sized Colored Photograph in jpeg format
- The photograph should be clear and in accordance with the size mentioned in the application form.

SNAP Fee Details:
- The SNAP registration fee for 2018 is INR 1500.
- The registration fee of MBA for each of the institutes is INR 1000.
- The fee can be paid through the modes of Net Banking/Credit Card or Demand Draft. Once the DD reaches the office, a confirmation e-mail will be sent regarding the same, and only then the admit card will be generated.
After the completion of the degree, the candidates are offered MBA degree which is accredited with Symbiosis International University, Pune.
