8TH MILE 2023 - A Techno-Cultural Extravaganza
After a gap of three years, R V College of Engineering, Bangalore, hosted its annual techno-cultural festival 8th Mile from 15 to 17 June 2019. It was more spectacular and astounding than its previous editions. The entire campus was brimming with enthusiasm in the run up to this grand event of talent and innovation.
8th Mile is not just a festival, but a pride of the institution’s endeavour to ensure holistic development beyond the textbook knowledge. This vibrant platform fosters a healthy competitive as well as collaborative spirit among the participants by providing an opportunity to the undergraduate students from various universities to exhibit their talents in technical and non technical events. The festival presents a kaleidoscope of creativity and talent with 50+ cultural events and 30+ innovative activities ensuring something for everyone.

Along with talent and creativity 8th Mile hosts partnerships that care for the society. In collaboration with NGOs, government organizations, old aged homes, orphanages etc., it offers a platform for people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to exhibit their talents and reach out to their fellow beings. The ultimate aim of the festival is to foster awareness and equality.
This event marks R V College of Engineering’s continuous endeavour to encourage overall development and thereby instill lifelong learning. 8th Mile is packed with an exhilarating agenda, welcoming people and an inspiring atmosphere which means everyone who visits would associate it with the college’s effort to groom leaders of tomorrow.
