PGDM full form is a Postgraduate Diploma in Management. It is a two-year diploma program that focuses on the management field. The PGDM course is offered by an autonomous B-school recognized by AICTE. PGDM and MBA are similar courses that deal with management studies. PGDM is considered equivalent to an MBA degree if the college is approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Candidates must have graduated (preferably with a degree in management) to be eligible for the PGDM course. Nonetheless, graduates from any field are eligible to apply for this program. PGDM admission is primarily based on entrance exams like MAT, CAT, XAT, etc.
