The OUAT Entrance Exam 2023 is scheduled to take place on June 22 and June 23, 2023. The exam will be conducted as a Computer Based Test at approximately 26 centers across the country. The OUAT UG 2023 exam consists of three sections totaling 200 marks. It is recommended that candidates attempt all sections. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. OUAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
In May 2023, the OUAT is likely to publish the UG examination procedure for the 2023-24 academic year on its official website. Information about the OUAT 2023 application form dates will also be available soon on the official website. Candidates interested in taking the NEST 2023 exam are advised to complete their application forms before the third week of June. Additionally, candidates should review the OUAT UG 2023 eligibility requirements before filling out the application form.
To enroll in a BSc program at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, candidates must have completed their Class 11 and 12 studies with Science, obtaining a minimum aggregate score of 50%, including additional optional subjects. However, candidates who have applied for admission under the SC/ST/PH category must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in their qualifying exam. In addition to the above requirements, applicants must have studied the following subjects to be considered eligible for admission to OUAT in 2023:

OUAT has additional eligibility criteria for BSc admissions through its entrance exam, which are listed below:
Aspirants must have passed the HSC or equivalent examination with Odia as MIL.
- If candidates do not have Odia as their MIL but their parents are permanent residents of Odisha, they must provide evidence of permanent residency in the form of a certificate from the concerned Revenue Officer (not below the rank of Tahasildar/District Magistrate/their employer).
- If candidates do not have Odia as their MIL and their parents are not permanent residents of Odisha but are serving under the Govt. of Odisha/Central Govt. /Public Undertaking or any University in the State of Odisha, they must provide a certificate from the Head of the Office/Institution where their parent(s) is/are working to confirm the same.
- If Odia students permanently reside outside Odisha, they must provide a certificate confirming their Odisha origin either from their employer/Tahasildar/District Magistrate (of the district in which they reside) or from the Tahasildar/District Magistrate of their native place in Odisha.
- The eligibility criteria in point 2 and 4 above do not apply to ICAR/VCI nominees, foreign candidates, state government-sponsored candidates, or children of OUAT employees.
Important Date: As per the official website, if candidates wish to apply for admission in BSc (Ag.), BSc (Hort.), BSc (Forestry), or BSc (Home Science) but have not studied Mathematics or Biology at the +2 level, they will need to fulfill this requirement by taking pre-requisite courses in the respective subject(s). These courses will be offered during the first two semesters.
As of December 31, 2023, candidates must have attained the age of 17 years (i.e., they should be born on or before December 31, 2004) to be eligible for the admission process.
