Recent Notifications- The Science Olympiad Foundation has disclosed SOF NSO results for level 1 exams on January 4, 2023. The results of the second-level tests for SOF IEO, SOF NSO, and SOF IMO are due in mid-March 2023. Registration for examinations to be held in 2023-24 will begin in April 2023. NSO Result 2022-23 Overview

Level 1 NSO Results 2022-23 will be published on sofworld.org. Students wishing to view the SOF level 1 Olympiad results for 2022 must provide their roll number. Each student's name, grade, and rank will be included in the level 1 NSO result 2022-23. SOF also sends the NSO Result 2022-23 to the school administration. A student performance report will be given to each participant.

SOF NSO Result 2022-23

The NSO result for 2022, level 1, will include student information, grades, and rankings. The NSO 2022-23 result is also sent to the school authorities via SOF. 1. The top 5% of students who take the first-level test. Marks acquired in various areas will be prioritized.
2. For each class, the top 25 rank holders are determined by zone/state. The student who earns at least 50% of the potential points out of at least ten peers who take the exam is referred to as the "class topper."
3. When enrolling section by section, class winners will be chosen from each section if there are more than 25 registrants.
4. Students in grades 3 and higher are eligible to sit for the second level test for the English, Science, and Mathematics Olympiad results (IEO, NSO, IMO). If two or more students obtain the same total grade, the student who received a higher mark in the areas assigned more importance will be granted a rank-based grade.

If two or more students achieve equal scores in the NSO Olympiad 2023 results, the student who got better marks in the part with higher importance will be awarded the rank. The below is the table for sectional priority-

Criteria to Qualify for NSO Level 2 Examination

To qualify for the NSO Level 2 test, a student must meet the conditions listed below-

1. Criteria 1: Pupils from each class who rank in the top 5% of their class in the first level of the NSO.
2. Criteria 2: Pupils who will finish in the top 25 in their class in each zone.
3. Criteria 3: The class topper from each participating school who has scored 50% in the level 1 examination. In this case, at least ten students must take the exam. If registration is done sectionally, students with the best scores in each section will be qualified for the NSO Level II test.

NSO Result 2022-23: Student's Performance Report

For the level 1 test, the NSO results will give a complete student performance report. Students may use this SPR to thoroughly assess their test performance. This SPR is divided into six sections, which are listed below-

1. Section A- This section includes applicants' scores and rankings at the School/City/Zone/International levels.
2. Section B- Students can see the previous year's performance report in this section.
3. Section C- This section contains the student's right answers as well as a comparison of the student's performance vs. other students at the Class, City, Zone, and International levels.
4. Section D- This section will give an average score analysis with comparisons to the School, City, Zone, and International levels.
5. Section E- It contains a topic-by-topic performance analysis for pupils.

Criteria for 2nd Level NSO Olympiad Ranking 2022-23

Level 2 examinations will be graded based on the following criteria-

1. Total marks obtained in the level 2 test.
2. If two or more students receive the same amount of marks, their rankings will be decided using the following criteria:
3. Marks earned in parts of the level two test were given additional weight.
4. Total marks obtained in the Level One test.
5. Sectional marks in the level one test were given additional weight.
6. If two or more students receive the same score in all of the above areas, they will be assigned the same rank.
