What is NIMCET?

NIMCET is a National Level Common Entrance Test, conducted by any of the NITs (National Institute of Technology) for admission to their MCA (Master of Computer Applications) programs. NITs Allahabad, Agartala, Bhopal, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Warangal, Kurukshetra, Jamshedpur, Tiruchirappalli, and IIIT Bhopal are the institutes that offer MCA admission.

Students aspiring to take admission to MCA courses at these institutes through NIMCET should develop a preparation plan to obtain a good score in the exam. Solving previous years’ question papers is one of the strategies to perform well in this entrance test.

Is NIMCET paper tough?

NIMCET isn't as tough as JEE Main or NEET, but candidate should prepare well in order to crack the exam. More focus should be given to the Mathematics section as it contains more weightage in the question paper.
