NERIST NEE 2023: Latest Update
- The application for the NERIST NEE 2023 has been made available since February 17, 2023.

- The NERIST NEE 2023 Application Form must be submitted by April 25, 2023.
What is NERIST NEE 2023?
The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Arunachal Pradesh, holds the NERIST Entrance Exam 2023 to provide admission to the institute's various courses. NERIST administers the NEE as an offline exam using pen and paper. The NERIST NEE entrance exam is taken by students from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, Sikkim, and Tripura. For candidates seeking admission to the Base Module (NEE-1), Diploma Module (NEE-2) and Degree Module of Engineering branches of Technology stream (NEE-3) and Degree Module of Forestry stream through NEE-2 (PCB), the NERIST NEE exam is held at three levels.

NERIST NEE 2023 Eligibility
The following are the NERIST NEE eligibility requirements:
NEE 1 (Certification Courses)
- The applicant must have completed class 10 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as required subjects.
- Candidates must be 19 years old as of July 31, 2023.
NEE 2 (Diploma Programs)
- The university administers exams for the Diploma in Engineering and Technology, Vocational Course, and Bachelor of Science in Forestry.
- The university administers exams for the Diploma in Engineering and Technology, Vocational Course, and Bachelor of Science in Forestry.
- The minimum age is set at 23 years old as of July 31, 2023. Candidates from the OBC category receive a three-year exemption, while candidates from the SC/ST category receive a five-year exemption.
NEE 3 (Engineering Courses)
- Candidates with a Diploma in a specialization course will be eligible to apply if they have a minimum aggregate mark of 60% or a CGPA of 6.0.
- Age must not be more than 40 as of July 31, 2023.

To apply for NEE 2023, candidates must complete the online application form, which is available on the NERIST website. Consider the following when applying for NEE:
- NEE 2023 applications must be submitted online at www.neeonline.ac.in.
- The candidate can fill out the entire form in one session or fill out only a portion of it and save and finish it later within the deadlines.
- Those who are SC/ST/OBC must choose an option from the drop-down menu, such as reservation code, and enter it in the appropriate field.
- On the day of counselling/admission, candidates must bring their mark sheets/grade cards/pass certificates.
- For SC/ST/PD candidates, the application fee is Rs.400/- + bank transaction charges, and for GENERAL/OBC and all other candidates, the application fee is Rs.750 + bank transaction charges.
- Please keep in mind that the application fee is not refundable. Furthermore, once submitted, the applicant is unable to make changes to the online application form.

NERIST NEE 2023 Admit Card
The NERIST NEE 2023 admit card will be available online. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall unless they have the NEE 2023 admit card. The admit card will include the candidate's name, photograph, signature, exam date, timings, registration number, exam center address, and exam-related do's and don'ts.
The steps for downloading the admit card are outlined below.
- Visit the NEE 2023 official website.
- Click on the NERIST NEE Admit Card link.
- Fill in your registration number and password.
- The admit card will appear on your computer screen; review all of the information and download it.
- NERIST NEE 2023 will be held in 13 exam centers throughout North East India. Candidates can select their top three centers of preference. The exam location is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. In most cases, the university will select the candidate's first choice.

NERIST NEE 2023 Syllabus
The syllabus for the three exams will vary depending on the course applied for.
- The NEE 1 exam is for candidates seeking admission to certification courses; the syllabus will primarily include topics from the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections of class 10.
- NEE 2 and NEE 3 will cover 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics topics.
- Topics such as solid and fluid mechanics, heat and thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and so on must be covered. There will also be questions about the Biology section. Aside from that, vocational subjects must be prioritized.

NERIST NEE 2023 Answer Key
The NERIST NEE answer key will be available on the exam's official website. Candidates who took the exam can access the NERIST answer key using their login credentials. Candidates may file objections to the NEE answer key via the official website. To raise an objection in the answer key, applicants must pay Rs. 500 per question. The exam authorities will release the NERIST NEE 2023 final answer key after considering all of the objections.

NERIST NEE 2023 Cut Off
There is no set cut-off date for NERIST NEE 2023. Every year, the university determines the cutoff based on the following factors:
- Total number of applicants
- Highest marks secured in the current year
- Marks and cutoffs obtained the previous year
- The number of seats available
- Exam difficulty level
- The university also provides cut off marks exemptions based on category and reservation.

NERIST NEE 2023 Counselling
The institute will conduct NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE) 2023 counselling following the announcement of the results. The NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE) counselling process is expected to begin in the fourth week of August. The names of qualified candidates will be posted on the university's official website. Candidates must attend the NERIST counselling process in accordance with the authority's schedule. During NERIST 2023 counselling, candidates will be required to produce all original certificates during the certificate verification process. They must also submit attested copies of their documents, as well as the online Anti-ragging undertakings. The candidate's admission is contingent on the availability of seats in their preferred college and course.

NERIST 2023 Exam Centers
- The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) will be held in 14 (fourteen) locations across the eight North Eastern states.
- While completing the ONLINE form for the NEE 2023, applicants must provide two examination center choices.
- An applicant's first choice of Examination Centre is retained.
- A candidate may be denied access to a center if the number of applicants in that center exceeds the center's maximum capacity.
- A center may also be cancelled if it does not have a sufficient number of applicants.
