The National Testing Agency has released the ‘NEET UG City Intimation Slip’ on its official website - exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. The NEET UG Exam City Slip is a document that contains details of the exam center that has been allotted to the candidate to take the NEET UG Exam. The City Intimation Slip for NEET UG is issued to the aspirants based on the cities that they have chosen as their preference while filling out the NEET UG Application Form. It must be noted that the NEET UG Intimation Slip is not equivalent to the NEET Admit Card, and the NEET UG Admit Card will be released 3 days before the exam as expected.
The NEET UG Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 5th May 2024 as an offline pen and paper-based exam in 571 cities across India. The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 2 p.m. to 5.20 p.m.

Candidates who have successfully registered for the NEET UG 2024 exam will be able to download the City Intimation Slip 2024 from the official website once released. Candidates may follow the below instructions to download the City Intimation Slip:

- Click on the ‘NEET UG Exam City Slip Download Link’
- Enter the details for login - Application Number, date of Birth, and a Security PIN
- Click on the ‘Submit’ option
- The City Intimation Slip will be displayed on the screen. Download for further use and take a printout for future reference

Importance of NEET UG 2024 City Intimation Slip
The NEET UG City Intimation Slip mentions the exam city where the candidate has to appear for the exam. The City Intimation slip is released before the admit card, and the admit card is issued only 2-3 days before the exam. Hence the city intimation slip is issued so that the candidates can reach the exam location timely. It must be noted that the examination city is also mentioned on the Admit Card. However, the issuance of the examination city slip gives the candidate enough time to reach the exam location beforehand.
