What is NEET PG 2023?
National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (Postgraduate) (NEET PG) is a qualifying and ranking examination in India for students interested in pursuing various postgraduate Doctor of Medicine, Master of Surgery, and diploma courses at the country's government or private medical colleges.

NEET PG Counselling 2023
- NEET PG 2023 Counselling will be provided as a centralized service to all State, UT, and institutional clients.
- NEET PG Counselling dates are yet to be announced by NBA but it is expected to be held in the month of May, 2023.
- The MCC organizes NEET PG Counselling on an all-India basis for 50% quota seats.
- To participate in the counselling process, candidates must be NEET PG qualified. MCC will conduct four rounds of NEET PG 2023 All India Quota counselling: round one, round two, mop-up, and stray vacancy. Fresh registrations for AIQ will be allowed in the first three rounds of MCC NEET PG Counselling 2023, but not in the spot round. Candidates must register, pay fees, and select their courses and colleges. Admission will be granted based on the graduates' preferences, NEET PG 2023 rank, and availability of seats.
Scope of NEET PG Counselling 2023
The following postgraduate medical seats are available through NEET PG Counselling 2023:
- 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats
- Central universities
- AFMS Institutions
- Deemed Universities
- State quota seats in government colleges in the state
- State quota seats in private medical institutions in the state
- Universities established by an Act of State
- Universities established by municipal bodies trust, society or company

NEET PG Counselling 2023 Eligibility
To be eligible for NEET PG Counselling 2023, candidates must score higher than or equal to the qualifying cutoffs set by MCC. Along with the results, the qualifying cut off score for NEET PG 2023 has been released. Candidates can view the cutoff trends for the previous years in the table below.

NEET PG Counselling 2023 Process
Those who pass the NEET PG Exam with a minimum cut-off percentile are eligible to participate in the counselling process. NEET PG Counselling 2023 is held for admission to 50% All India Quota seats and 100% seats at deemed/central universities, ESIC, and AFMS. MCC will conduct four rounds of NEET PG Counselling 2023 for the aforementioned seats. Counselling will be conducted by the respective state authorities for the remaining 50% of AIQ seats. The counselling process begins with online registration and concludes with candidates reporting to the designated institute with all required documents.

Step 1: Counselling Registration:
- Visit the website (link will be provided above).
- Click the "New Registration" button.
- Register for the Counselling session.
- Candidates should keep the password that they created during registration.
- Pay the counselling fee, which is Rs. 1000 for AIQ/Central University UR candidates, Rs. 500 for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates, and Rs. 5000 for Deemed University candidates.
- Candidates must also pay a tuition fee, which is refundable if no seats are allotted to them. The tution fees are:
- For AIQ/ Central University UR candidates: Rs. 25000.
- For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH: Rs. 10,000.
- For Deemed: Rs 2,00,000.

Step 2: Choice Filling
Following online registration (registration is required to participate in the online allotment process), candidates must select subjects and institutions/colleges in order of preference.
- After filling out the form, you can change it before locking it.
- To get a print of your submitted choices, you must lock the choices during the choice locking period.
- If the candidate does not lock the choice they submitted, the choice will be locked automatically.
- Print the completed options for future reference.
- You can select as many options as you want.
Step 3: Seat Allotment
- The seat allotment process begins after the choices are filled.
- Candidates are assigned seats based on their choices, the availability of seats, their category, and so on.
- The outcome of each round is announced on the website.
Step 4: Reporting
- Candidates who are assigned seats must enroll in the college or course within the time frame specified.
- No admission will be permitted after the deadline.

Types of NEET PG Counselling 2023
The NEET PG 2023 result from the NBE is used for counseling and seat allocation. MCC will conduct NEET PG Counselling 2023 for 50% AIQ and 100% deemed and central universities, ESIC, and AFMS seats, as previously stated. NEET PG 2023 Seat Matrix
The NEET PG 2022 seat matrix shows the number of seats available for each speciality course. The seat matrix also specifies the number of seats available for each candidate category. It will be released before each round for NEET PG Counselling 2023 2023. State Quota Merit List
NEET PG results are used to fill seats in state quotas or private universities. Many factors are considered when preparing the state quota merit list, including category, subcategory, final eligibility, state category rank, and other reservation policies.
The final merit list is generated on the website based on the merit lists generated by all States/UTs/Institutions. There is no reservation policy in place for offering admissions. Seats will, however, be reserved for certain categories.
