What is MHT CET Counselling 2022?

The 2022 MHT CET counselling period began on September 21. On October 27, the web options entry for round 2 was opened at the official website, fe2022.mahacet.org. For the purpose of selecting their preferred courses and colleges, candidates must log in using their application number and password. October 29, 2022 is the last date to fill out the choices.

Steps to Register for MHT CET Counselling 2022

Candidates participating in MHT CET Counseling 2022 first have to register themselves. The following are the specific registration procedures:

Step 1: Registration

After visiting the official website, click "New Registration." After creating a password, enter your security, contact, and personal information. For a clear understanding of how to complete the details at each step, refer to the table below.

Password Selection:

Following the submission of the necessary information, a password must be created. The following rules must be strictly adhered to when creating the password:

8 to 13 characters are required for the password.

A minimum of one upper- and lower-case alphabet is required in the password.

The password must contain at least one numeric value.

!@#$%&*- is a required special character in the password.

Step 2: Choosing the Information on the Types of Candidature

The candidates must choose their category-appropriate type of candidacy when registering. The candidates must choose from the following categories based on their qualifications:

  • Maharashtra State Candidature (Type A/B/C/D/E)
  • OMS
  • J&K Migrant Applicant
  • Foreign Students
  • NRI
  • PIO/OCI

Step 3 - Enter Your Qualification and Examination Details

Please include the name of the school board along with your overall and subject-by-subject grades for classes X and XII. Enter all the information pertaining to the required degree as well.

Step 5 – Payment of MHT CET Counselling Fees

The candidates must pay the counselling fees after submitting all of the necessary documents and scanned images. The cost of counselling must be paid in an online mode.

Step 6 – Take Print out of Counselling Application Form

Take a printout of the completed application form and present it for verification at the facilitation canters after paying the counselling fees.

Reporting at Admission Facilitation Centres (AFC)

Candidates who successfully register must appear at the centers for admission facilitation so that their documentation can be checked. At the facilitation centers, original documents must be presented along with a set of copies that have been self-attested. Candidates won't be able to continue the admissions process if they don't show up at the facilitation center.

MHT CET 2022 Choice Filling 

The MHT CET Counselling 2022 round 2 seat allocation web options entry has begun. From October 27 to October 29, candidates can complete out online forms for the colleges and courses of their choice. It is necessary to choose options in the preferred order. Candidates are advised to carefully complete the option form because the allocation of seats will be dependent on this method.

MHT CET Counselling 2022 Reservation Policy

The MHT CET counselling 2022 will only grant reservations to candidates who are residents of Maharashtra. The state government's reservation policy will be followed in filling the open seats in engineering and pharmacy programs at various universities throughout the state. These reservations are only valid for the centralised admission process for MHT CET 2022 (CAP).

MHT CET Merit List 2022

The MHT CET final merit list for 2022 is now available online at fe2022.mahacet.org, according to the counselling authority. On October 7, the authorities had already published the provisional merit list, which was also subject to dispute from October 8 to 10. After carefully considering the student complaints that were filed, the final MHT CET merit list has been made public. The distribution of seats will be determined by a candidate's position on the MHT CET merit list.
