MCA Admission Process

Merit-based and entrance exam-based criteria are both used for MCA course admission. There are variety of entrance exams at the national (NIMCET), state (MAH CET, UPSEE, etc.), and university levels (BHU PET, VITEEE, etc.) level to grant MCA admissions. Direct Admission

Few private colleges provide direct admission or admission based on merit to the MCA degree program. Candidates are chosen for admission on the basis of merit in their 10+2 or bachelor's degree scores. Through Management Quotas, direct admission to MCA courses is also available. In quota, there are some reserved seats, for which the prices are typically higher than those of regular MCA seat.

 

Entrance Based Admission

Candidates are shortlisted for entrance-based admission to MCA degree programs based on the results of the entrance exam they took. Following that, shortlisted candidates must participate in the counselling process.

Selected candidates may have to go through a group discussion or personal interview round after the counselling process, which is followed by a document verification procedure. Candidates must pay the admission fee to finally secure their admission into the college.
