What is LSAT Exam?
The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) of the United States of America administers the LSAT India once a year on behalf of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). The LSAT is the entry point for admission to various law schools in India that offer BA LLB, LLM, or LLB courses.

LSAT India 2023 Eligibility Criteria
LSAC has not specified any specific eligibility criteria for appearing in the law entrance exam; however, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria for UG and PG law courses offered at accepting law colleges:
Five-year Integrated LLB Program
- Candidates who have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination
- Those who are taking the qualifying examination or waiting for the results are also eligible to apply for and take the LSAT India exam.
Three-year LLB program
- Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university/college are eligible.
- Those who are awaiting the results of their final year qualifying examination can also take the LSAT India.
LLM
- Candidates with a law degree (LLB) from a recognized university/college are encouraged to apply.
- Those who are awaiting the results of their final year qualifying examination can also take the LSAT India.

LSAT India 2023 Exam Pattern
The candidate must be thoroughly familiar with the LSAT 2023 Exam Pattern. There are four sections in total: one for Reading Comprehension, one for Analytical Reasoning, and two for Logical Reasoning. The variable section of the LSAT, also known as the unscored section, is typically used to pretest new test questions.
- The LSAT will only have English questions.
- All of the questions will be multiple-choice and objective in nature.
- The LSAT exam lasts two hours and twenty minutes.
- There is another section called 'Variable' that will not include the marks.
- Each section of the LSAT will have a sectional time limit of 35 minutes.
- There will be a total of 92 questions for which you will be graded.
- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct response on the LSAT.
- In LSAT 2023, there is no negative marking for incorrectly marked answers.

LSAT India 2023 Result
The LSAT India result is announced by LSAC in the form of a scorecard, which includes information such as the scaled score, score band, and All-India percentile score. It should be noted that LSAT India 2023 qualified candidates will not be counseled by LSAC. Rather, LSAC will share LSAT India 2023 results with participating law schools. In turn, these colleges will create merit lists for applicants based on their LSAT India scores and contact the shortlisted candidates.

LSAT India 2023 Waiting List
Participating colleges in LSAT India 2032 will publish a waiting list for candidates whose qualifications are strong but do not match the competition of those offered seats in the first round. According to the notice that will be issued soon by the concerned university, the law school will notify applicants of their final admission decision.
- Most schools' waiting lists will list students' names in descending order of rank.
- These students will be offered admission in the order in which their ranks were assigned.
- If a law school does not rank applicants, they can inquire about the number of people on the waiting list at the admissions office.
