Changes Introduced in JEE Main BE/B.Tech Exam Pattern
- The Computer-Based Test (CBT) method will be used for the JEE Main B.E/B. Tech paper. The paper will be divided into three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
- For each of the three parts, there will be ten Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, although students can choose to respond to any five of them.
- There will be 20 MCQs in each part, and all questions must be answered.
- Each MCQ will be of 4 marks if answered correctly. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- If a NAT question is correct, it will receive four marks. For each wrong answer, 0 marks will be deducted.
- The exam duration will be 3 hours.
- The maximum marks will be 300.
