JEE Main 2019

Every year numbers of students take JEE Mains to fulfil their dreams of getting enrolled in the prestigious engineering colleges of India, this year is no different. With the announcement of JEE Main 2019 schedule by National Testing Agency (NTA), there is a great amount of havoc in the student community. This year exam is scheduled to be conducted in 2 parts i.e. twice a year and the examination for the 1st part will be conducted on 6th to 20th January 2019; registration for the same will start from September 1st, 2018. The 2nd part of the JEE Main 2018, however, will be conducted on 6th – 20th April 2019, followed by a registration starting on February 8th, 2019.

JEE Main 2019 Eligibility:

Age Limit:

There is no age limit set by NTA or Govt. of India to appear for the entrance examination JEE 2019, however, the candidate should meet the age limitation of the respective institute; applied for.

Qualification:

The aspirant should pass 10+2 examination with 5 subjects having Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any 3 subjects including one of the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.  If a candidate have Diploma degree he or she can only apply for IITs.

Required marks:

There are no minimum marks or pass percentage has been set for appearing JEE mains 2019, however, if candidate seeking to pursue engineering from IIT candidate need to have 75% (65% for SC/ST). The required percentage in 12th Board Exam may vary from college to college accepting JEE Mains Score.

JEE Main 2019 Registration Process:

Candidates seeking to appear for part 1 of JEE Mains 2019 can follow the below mentioned steps to register and fill the application form:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website www.jeemain.nic.in and click on the tab with “Apply for JEE (Main)-2019.” It will redirect the candidate on the application form page.
  • Step 2: Fill the application form with all the required details, including preferred exam slot from the 8 available slots. An application number will be generated which need to be kept for future reference.
  • Step 3: Upload scanned copy of passport size photograph (between 10 kb–200 kb) and Signature (between 4kb – 30 kb) in JPG or JPEG format.
  • Step 4: Once the details are filled and uploads are completed candidate needs to do the payment of registration fee online, complete the registration process by submitting the application.

Candidate should note that all these steps can be done in a single go or in 3 different steps as per convenience.

 JEE Main 2019 Registration Fee:

The application fee for JEE Mains 2019 varies depending upon gender and category of the candidates. The fee can be paid through credit card, debit card and net banking. Fee made through e-challan of SBI bank is also acceptable. Candidates are requested to take the copy of the payment confirmation page before submitting the application. The application fee is nonrefundable in case of application rejection. The registration fee of JEE Mains 2019 is given below.
