The ICAR 2023 Counselling process is scheduled to undergo four online rounds, followed by a mop-up/final round. For the Academic Session 2023-24, admissions to 20% of seats (including 100% seats at ICAR-NDRI, Karnal, IARI New Delhi, RLBCAU, Jhansi, and Dr. RPCAU, Pusa) in Bachelor’s degree programs will be granted across 70 Agricultural Universities under the ICAR-AU system.

To view their allotment, candidates can log in and check based on their preferences and seat availability in colleges. The online document verification process will conclude on November 22, 2023.

Candidates who are deemed eligible for counselling, based on the information provided during registration for counselling, will be considered for the allocation of courses and Agricultural Universities (AU) following ICAR’s Online Counselling procedure.

ICAR Counselling Dates 2023

Last year, ICAR relaxed the deadlines for degree submission for the PG counselling track of the ICAR AIEEA. During document verification, candidates who are taking part in AIEEA PG counselling must present a certificate of their bachelor's degree. If they don't have a PDC or degree certificate, they will need to submit a legitimate certificate stating that they will meet all requirements for admission to PG programs and the anticipated date that their degree certificate will be issued. After the results are announced, ICAR will post the ICAR counselling 2023 schedule on their official website. ICAR Counselling Registration 2023

The ICAR council will begin the online registration process for the ICAR counselling 2023. During the ICAR counselling registration process, the candidates will be shown the seats available in the various participating universities and the programs offered. Since there are no direct admissions after the entrance exam, it is mandatory for applicants to register for the online ICAR counselling. Candidates must use the login credentials they created when filling out the application form to register for ICAR counselling.

ICAR Choice Filling 2023

Along with the online counselling registration process, the ICAR 2023 choice filling will begin.  Candidates will have a wide range of options after registering for counselling to select the programs and institutions for the ICAR 2023 choice-filling process. Based on their overall merit standing and areas of interest, they must choose the desired programs and institutions.  After completing their selections, candidates must pay the Rs. 500 registration fee for ICAR counselling via the organization's online payment gateway using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

ICAR Counselling 2023 Procedure

After being deemed qualified in the AIEEA Merit Lists, candidates must download their counselling call letter from the exam's official website. During the counselling session, candidates must have their counselling call letter with them. The following instructions will help you download the ICAR counselling 2023 Call Letter:

 ICAR counselling 2023 will only be available online. The total number of seats available for admission to the Agricultural Universities would be less than the number of applicants who are declared qualified by ICAR for counselling. All candidates who received 50% under the general and UPS categories and 40% under the SC/ST/PC categories are invited to the counselling session.

The competent authority, which is DDG, Agril. Edn, may lower the minimum passing marks if the required number of candidates are not available for counselling. The ICAR counselling 2023 process involves numerous steps.

Step-by-step ICAR Counselling procedure

Candidates must be aware of every step in the ICAR counselling 2023 process in order to avoid missing any of the steps. After the ICAR AIEEA 2023 results are announced, candidates must first pay the counselling fee of 2000 INR in order to participate in the counselling process.

Candidates who are not listed on the merit list as qualified for counselling are not permitted to attend counselling. During the counselling process, qualified candidates are allowed to select the institution and course of their choice from the provided list.

Step 4: Qualified candidates will only see the institutions and programs to which they are admittedly qualified based on their performance in the ICAR AIEEA 2023 examination.

Step 5: If candidates want to submit multiple choices, they can choose the university and courses individually and in combination. During the allotted time, candidates may change, add, or remove their selections.

Step 6: After making their decision, candidates must click the "save" button and may print the page for their records.

Step 7: On the day of counselling, the candidates' preferences will be taken into account. Candidates will then be assigned seats based on their merit and the availability of seats. The university and course that they were assigned in Round 1 of the ICAR AIEEA 2023 counselling will also be communicated to candidates via email or SMS.

Step 8: Candidates must download the letter of allocation. At the designated University, a printout of the provisional allotment letter must be presented. The final admission letter will be issued after the candidates' documentation has been verified.

Following the allocation of seats, the candidates must upload the following documents. The council will carefully examine each candidate's eligibility after document verification. The selection of the university and program will be communicated to the candidates via email and SMS.

ICAR Seat Allotment 2023

Three ICAR AIEEA seat allotments and one mop-up round allotment are being used to distribute seats among the participating institutes.  The first, second, and third seat allocations for the ICAR AIEEA 2023 will be made public online. The candidates' choices will be used to determine the ICAR 2023 mop up seat allocation. Candidates who receive a seat via the ICAR seat allocation 2023 must upload their supporting documents and finish the document verification process before the deadline.  Using their login information, candidates can access the ICAR 2023 seat allocation page on the organization's official website.  They must also create the provisional admission letter and pay the seat acceptance fee. The candidates' overall merit rank was used to determine how the seats were distributed.

ICAR Cutoff

The ICAR AIEEA 2023 Cutoff is the minimum score required by candidates to be admitted to participating colleges for ICAT AIEEA 2023. Candidates who pass the set cutoff will be shortlisted by the NTA for admission into various UG and PG courses at ICAR-affiliated universities via centralized counselling. 

Candidates from the General and UPS categories must score in the top 50 percentile, while candidates from the SC/ST/PwD categories must score at least in the 40 percentile to participate in the ICAR AIEEA 2023 Counselling.  

If the number of candidates attending the counselling is insufficient, the ICAR may relax the cutoff.

A merit list will be prepared based on ICAR AIEEA 2023, taking into account the number of available seats and the number of candidates who take the exam.

ICAR AIEAA Counselling Selection Process

• The selection of candidates for ICAR counselling 2023 will totally depend on their percentile.
• The candidates must register for their online counselling process before the deadlines or else the admission claim of the students will not be taken under consideration
• The candidates cannot apply for ICAR Quota seats if they have not informed about their counselling process qualification status
• Admission to ICAR Accredited degree programs or subjects in Agriculture Universities is dependent on the availability of seats and the merits of the entrance examination. 
• During their admission to the designated university, candidates must submit their original documents along with self-attested photocopies and photographs.

ICAR AIEEA Accepting Colleges

The ICAR AIEEA examination 2023 will be held online by the NTA. The National Agricultural Research and Education System (NARES) in India admits more than 15,000 graduates and 11, 000 post-graduates each year in various disciplines of Agriculture and Allied Sciences. ICAR Admission Letter 2023

Candidates will receive a provisional admission letter for ICAR 2023 after successfully completing the document review process. Candidates who have been chosen for further consideration will be notified via SMS and email. The ICAR 2023 provisional admission letter must be obtained from the council's official website.

Only 15% of seats at the State Agricultural University are filled through the ICAR AIEEA 2023 exam. All available seats at universities that participate in the ICAR are filled using the ICAR entrance exam as well.
