ICAI CA September Exam Date 2024: ICAI publishes ICAI exam dates on its official website - icai.org. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has published the CA Inter and Foundation September 2024 exam dates. This year onwards ICAI will conduct CA Inter and Foundation exams thrice every year. CA Foundation September 2024 will be conducted on September 13, 15, 18 and 20, 2024. CA Inter September 2024 exam will be conducted from September 12 and 23, 2024. ICAI will open CA Inter September 2024 exam form on July 7, 2024, while the CA Foundation September 2024 exam form will be opened on July 28, 2024
The CA Inter and CA Foundation exams will now be held three times a year, in January, May/June, and September. The CA Final exams will continue to be held twice a year. What is ICAI CA Foundation Exam?
ICAI exam, also known as the CA exam, is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for aspirants of Chartered Accountancy profession in India. As per the University Grants Commission (UGC), CA qualification is treated equivalent to a postgraduate degree. The exam is conducted at three different levels as per the CA courses. For being certified as a Chartered Accountant, candidates have to clear all the course levels. There are three levels in CA course. Given below are the CA courses in order of first to third:
- CA Foundation course examination (four papers)
- CA Intermediate examination (eight papers based on New Syllabus and eight paper based on Old Syllabus)
- CA Final examination (eight papers based on New Syllabus and 8 paper based on Old Syllabus)

CA September Exam Date 2024 Guidelines
- To ensure a smooth experience on the CA September Exam Date 2024, follow these important guidelines:
- Bring a printed copy of your CA admit card and a valid government-issued ID.
- Arrive at the exam center at least 30 minutes early.
- You will have 15 minutes to read the exam before it begins.
- You cannot leave the exam room until the exam is over.
- Sign the attendance sheet next to your name and roll number.
- Do not bring prohibited items such as books, writing materials, smartwatches, mobile phones, or other electronic devices into the exam center.
CA Registration January 2025
ICAI accepts the registration for CA exams before the examination form. The registration for a CA Final exam remains valid for a period of five years from the date of initial registration. CA Inter exam registration is valid for four years and CA Foundation registration is valid for a period of 3 years. Post this, candidates have to revalidate their registration. There is a registration cut off date for CA Foundation and CA Inter.
