The IBSAT Exam pattern comprises of four sections: Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. Each section contains 30 questions, and the total time for the exam is 2 hours. The IBSAT exam is a computer-based test that is conducted in two sessions. The Verbal Ability section tests a candidate’s skills in grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. The Reading Comprehension section tests the ability to read and understand long passages of text. The Quantitative Ability section tests the skills in basic mathematics, problem-solving, and data interpretation. The Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency section tests the ability to interpret and analyze data.

There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in the IBSAT exam. This means that candidates can answer all the questions, even if they are not sure of the answers.   • Vocabulary: This includes questions on word meaning, synonyms, and antonyms.
  • Comprehension: This includes questions on reading comprehension, fill-in-the-blanks, and jumbled sentences.

2. Reading Comprehension: This section tests your ability to read and understand long passages of text. It contains 30 questions of 1 mark each. The section-wise weightage of this section is 21.4%. The questions in this section are based on the following topics:
