GATE Admit Card: The release of the GATE 2023 admit card has been postponed by IIT Kanpur. On January 9, candidates will be able to download their IIT Kanpur GATE admit card 2023. The admit card will include all relevant information, such as the candidate's name, exam date, timings, examination venue, address of the exam center, and so on. Applicants should remember to bring their admit cards to the exam centers. Candidates will not be permitted to take the entrance examination unless they have a GATE 2023 hall ticket. In addition to the GATE 2023 hall ticket, applicants must bring a valid photo ID.

How to Download GATE 2023 Admit Card?
The GATE Admit Card 2023 will be available only on the GOAPS website. In order to participate in the IIT Kanpur GATE, candidates must download their hall ticket from the official website. On January 3, 2023, the GATE Entrance Exam Call Letter may be downloaded. The candidates will not receive an admission certificate via mail or email.
A printout of the accessed GATE Exam admit card on A4-sized paper, as well as the original and valid photo ID that was specified during the online application process (NO photocopy, scanned copy, OR expired document), must be brought by the applicant to the exam for verification (for example Aadhaar-UID, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, College ID, Employee ID, and Driving License).
Steps are given below to download the GATE 2023 Admit Card
Step 1: Go to gate.iitkgp.ac.in, the official website.
Step 2: Enter your password and GATE Enrollment ID, and then click "Submit."
Step 3: The page will then be forwarded to the new window. After that, click the "Download GATE 2023 Admit Card 2023" link.
Step 4: Download and print in color the GATE admit card document that is displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Check for the Erros, if any.

Things to keep in mind while downloading the GATE 2023 Admit Card
- Candidates should clear the cache and browser memory if they experience any issues while downloading the GATE Admit Card.
- After closing the browser, candidates should reopen it and login with the necessary information to download their GATE admit card.
- Candidates need to have a fast Internet connection. Avoid downloading your GATE 2023 Admit Card using a mobile device.
- Additionally, if a photo or signature is missing, bring a photo to the exam room in the original along with a photo ID if one was uploaded in the GATE 2023 Application Form.
- Candidates won't be able to take the GATE Exam if they don't have a valid admit card.

Errors in GATE 2023 Admit Card
In a few rare cases, candidates may discover mistakes or discrepancies on their GATE admit card 2023. If a candidate encounter such problems, they must make sure to notify the appropriate authority right away. Candidates will not be informed by the examination authority in any way. Thus, before submitting the online GATE 2023 application form, candidates are strongly advised to double-check all the information provided.

How to recover Password and Enrollment ID?
All GATE 2023 applicants are urged to safely record their registration passwords. But in any case, if they forget their individual passwords, they can follow the instructions below to recover it and download their GATE 2023 admit card.
Step 1: Visit the GOAPS website.
Step 2: Click the "Forgot Password" tab.
Step 3: Input the application number and select "Get Password" from the menu.
Step 4: The authority will send a password to the candidate's registered, legitimate email address.

Step 1: Visit GOAPS's main website.
Step 2: Click "Forgot Enrollment Id."
Step 3: Enter your registered mobile phone number.

GATE 2023 Admit Card Biometric Verification
- Before the exam begins, GATE candidates must go through the biometric identification process.
- It is a required step in the exam center's attendance procedure.
- No candidate will be permitted to take the exam if they refuse or fail to complete the verification.
- Before the GATE exam, every candidate must be verified; if not, they won't be allowed inside the exam room.
Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates must arrive in the examination room 60 minutes prior to the exam in order to complete the verification process.
- The candidates' thumbs and retinas are scanned as part of the verification.
- The exam centers do not allow the use of any electronic devices, including watches, mobile phones, and more.
- The candidates might be given access to virtual scientific calculators for calculations.
- For rough work, scribbling pads will be provided. Before using the scribble pad, the candidates must write their name and GATE registration number on it.
- The scribble pad needs to be given back to the examiner at the conclusion of the test.
