UPSC EPFO PA Recruitment 2024 Important Dates and Details

Employee Provident Fund Organization or the EPFO is a retirement savings scheme for salaried employees who work for the Government of India. EPFO is a statutory body that functions under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Every year, EPFO conducts examinations to recruit employees. EPFO Recruitment 2024: EPFO has announced vacancies for the position of Personal Assistant (PA) in the organization for the year 2024. There are a total of 323 PA vacancies that candidates can apply for. The total number of positions of the EPFO recruitment has been decided keeping in mind the government regulations of both reserved and unreserved categories.

Vacancies for the Personal Assistant post in EPFO have been decided keeping in mind the government rules of recruitment. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC/EWS will be required to submit their caste certificates as proof in order to be considered for this role. EPFO PA Exam Date 2024

The EPFO PA Exam date has been notified officially by the UPSC. The exam concluded on the 7th of July 2024 (Sunday). This date was mentioned for the written exam, the first phase of the EPFO selection process. Candidates who pass the exam will qualify for the next rounds of the selection process.

The exam has been scheduled in various exam centers across the country in a single shift from 09.30 AM to 11.00 AM. Candidates are advised to visit the location a little earlier to avoid hassles. Also, it is mandatory to carry the admit card and a valid government ID proof to the exam center.

EPFO PA Application 2024

The application process for EPFO Recruitment 2024 begins online. This means candidates will have to register themselves on the official website of UPSC and submit an online application form along with all other required documents to apply for EPFO PA positions.

The application process will only be successful after payment of the application fee. Candidates can submit their application fee through debit or credit card, net banking, or UPI. The application fee for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates is INR 25. SC/ST/ Female candidates are exempted from the application fee.

EPFO Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed a graduation degree (or an equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Age Limit: The candidates must be between the age of 18 - 30 years at the time of filling the application form. OBC Candidates have a 3-year upper age relaxation, while SC/ST candidates have a 5-year age relaxation.
• Others: Candidates must be well-versed in stenography and typing.`

EPFO PA Exam Pattern

• The exam pattern for UPSC EPFO PA is as follows:
• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) or objective-type questions.
• There will be a total of 200 questions of 1 mark each (total 200 marks).
• For every wrong answer, 1/3rd of the total marks will be deducted (negative marking).
• The exam duration will be 2 hours.

The paper is bilingual (English and Hindi), except for the English Language section.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written test. The cut-off will be determined categorically as per government regulations. Those who clear the first phase of the recruitment will qualify for the skill test.

EPFO PA Recruitment Selection Process

• Phase I: The written test is the first phase of the EPFO selection process.
• Phase II: The skill test, for those candidates who qualify first round of the evaluation process.
• Phase III: Marks of both tests will be considered to select the candidates. They will then be called for document verification and medical exams.

After the selection process is complete and all the vacancies are filled for the PA position, candidates will have to undergo a training. They will be salaried under the 7th Pay Commission. EPFO PA salary of employees is INR 44, 900 per month.
