Education Minister of Haryana

Mr. Kanwar Pal Gujjar, who was born on May 8, 1960, in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, is Haryana's education minister for the current year 2021. He received his schooling at three different institutions- Mukand Lal National CollegeKurukshetra University, and Maharaja College.

Mr.Kanwar Pal Gujjar has been Haryana's Education Minister and Haryana's Minister of Forest, Tourism, Hospitality, Art & Cultural Affairs since November 14, 2019. From a literacy rate of 20%, Haryana has progressed to a better position with a literacy rate of 67.91 percent, which is higher than the national average of 64.8 percent.

Gujjar won the assembly section for the third time in a row in 2019 from the Jagadhiri Vidhan Sabha Constituency and is one of the few prominent Haryana BJP politicians. Haryana's education minister's road was not an easy one. Nonetheless, he has worked hard to get to where he is now. His interest in politics, particularly education, and athletics, began in elementary school. Gujjar's interest grew into a passion throughout his undergraduate years. As a result, he became a student leader and ran for student union president at Maharaja College, Jagadhari. Later, in the same college, he was elected president of the students' union based on his devotion and enthusiasm for his profession. Gujjar joined the RSS after being impressed by the RSS's fiery leader, Sadhvi Rithambara, in 1990. That is how he gradually went from the RSS to the BJP. In 1991, he ran for the first time as a BJP candidate, but he lost by 4000 votes. He tried his luck in the elections again in 1992. He was defeated once more, this time by 520 votes. For his progress, the BJP-INLD government elected him as MLA in 2000.

Education Minister of Haryana

Despite the fact that everything was in his favor, he was defeated in elections again in 2009. He made a return in 2014, winning elections by 40,000 votes and earning the position of Speaker of the House.
