Recently CBSE announced dates for conducting its one of the most popular exam CTET. As per the schedule released the CTET 2018 will be conducted on December 9, 2018. All the aspirants must have registered by now for the same as the last date for registration is over and no application will be entertained now. Registration for CTET is the 1st step to achieve the dream of pursuing a teaching, but just registration is not enough preparing in a right direction is also very important and for the same knowing the exam pattern of CTET should be of utmost priority.
Structure of CTET question paper:
- All the questions that are asked in the exam are multiple choice questions which are to be solved in 180 minutes and the correct answer is needed to be ticked by the candidate. Each question carries one mark from the 4 alternatives one answer is given. CTET exams have no negative marking so selecting incorrect answer will not result in a reduction in marks when total will be done.
- A separate question paper will be provided for visually impaired candidates and 50 extra minutes to solve the answers.
- A person with more than 40% disability will be allowed to keep a scribe with them to solve the paper.
Two paper set of CTET:
There are 2 papers that take place-
Paper 1 is for teachers who aim to teach students of class 1st to 5th.
Paper 2 is for teachers who aim to teach students of class 6th to 8th.
Any person who intends to become a teacher for both the levels need to clear both exams. Questions asked in both the stages are compulsory to attempt by the candidate. The candidate will get 180 minutes to complete the exam.
