COMEDK Counselling 2023
The "Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka" (COMEDK) is an independent organization comprising eminent administrative officials and senior academicians with experience in the educational fraternity.
KPCF (Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation - Medical & Dental) and KUPECA (Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association) granted COMEDK the duty of organizing testing procedures to assess the merit of aspiring students in an efficient, impartial, unbiased and non-exploitative procedure.
The UGET 2023 was conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) on May 28, 2023 and the results was out by June 10, 2023.

The candidates who wish to appear for the COMEDK Counselling 2023 must go through the following procedure:
Step 1: Open the website- comedk.org
Step 2: Tap on ‘counselling registration' tab
Step 3: Make an online payment of 5000 rupees to register for online counselling
Step 4: Uploading documents for verification
Step 5: Once documents are successfully verified, the candidate is eligible for participating in round 1.

COMEDK Counselling 2023: Eligibility
The candidates who wish to appear for COMEDK Counselling 2023 are required to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants who have cleared the COMEDK UGET 2023 exam.
- Have cleared the class 12th/ equivalent with an aggregate of 45% marks or more in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. (40% marks for SC, ST, OBS of Karnataka State)

COMEDK UGET Counselling 2024 – Seat Allotment and Surrender Process
Candidates can refer to the steps given below to surrender their seats during COMEDK
Counseling Instructions for 2024:
- Step 1: Check the surrender dates on the COMEDK UGET website.
- Step 2: Log in and access the "Surrender Tab."
- Step 3: Complete the surrender form online and retain a printed copy.
Options for Further Steps:
- Option 1: If you plan to attend Round 2 to explore new college/course options, attend with a DD of INR 5000/- (refer to the document list for details) along with the printed surrender form.
- Option 2: If you choose not to participate in Round 2 or attend Round 2 without selecting a seat, follow the steps below.
- If a candidate does not select a seat in Round 2, the following documents must be sent via speed post to COMEDK, Malleswaram Office:

- Fee payment receipt issued by Vijaya Bank for Rs 55000/-
- Printout of Surrender Form
- Refunds for compliant surrender cases will be processed by the 3rd/4th week of August.

COMEDK UGET 2023 Counselling (Special Categories)
- Additional counseling round in the 2nd round if specific category seats are still available.
- Unoccupied seats after exclusive counseling open for General category students.
- Candidate with a minority seat in the 1st round can only participate in the 2nd round for minorities.
- Students with a minority seat cannot partake in the 2nd round for General candidates.
COMEDK UGET 2023 Counselling Fee Refund Policy
- Surrendering the seat within the stipulated dates is crucial for candidates seeking a fee refund, subject to a deduction of INR 5000 (Administrative Expenses).
- Familiarize yourself with the Seat Surrender Procedure to understand the process.
- The refunded amount will be issued as a crossed A/c payee cheque in the candidate's name.
- Students must present the original allotment letter for COMEDK, the bank receipt, and the verification card during the process.
- Original document verification may be required at the counseling stage, while the Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate may be necessary at the college level during admission.
