CMAT Result 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for CMAT 2023 on May 31st, 2023. Candidates can now access their CMAT result and scorecard on the official website by logging in with their IDs. The CMAT 2023 examination was conducted by the NTA on May 4, 2023.

The scorecard for CMAT 2023 will be available for download starting from the result date, but only for a limited period. Therefore, it is important for qualifying candidates to download a copy of their CMAT 2023 scorecard. Following the announcement of the CMAT result 2023, the NTA will publish a merit list that includes the overall score and percentile of successful candidates. MBA admissions for the 2023 batch, based on CMAT scores, will commence shortly after the release of the merit list.

How to check the CMAT Result 2023?

Candidates must follow the steps below to download the CMAT exam result 2023:

• Step 1 - Go to the official CMAT website, cmat.nta.nic.in.
• Step 2 - Select the 'CMAT 2023: Download Score Card' option.
• Step 3 - Candidates will be taken to a login page where they must enter their login information, such as:
  • Application number
  • Date of birth
• Following this also add a security pin and click on the ‘Submit' tab.
• Step 4 - The CMAT 2023 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
• Step 5 - Download and print the CMAT 2023 scorecard for future reference.

Each candidate's CMAT scorecard contains vital information about them and their exam performance. The following information will be included on the CMAT 2023 result cum scorecard:

• Candidate's name and roll number
• Candidate's date of birth
• Category and Gender
• Candidate's guardian's name
• CMAT registration number
• CMAT score (sectional)
• CMAT score (overall)
• CMAT percentile (sectional)
• CMAT percentile (overall)

How is CMAT Score Calculated?

CMAT Score is calculated using the following marking scheme based on the candidate's correct and incorrect responses in the CMAT exam:

• The correct response will receive a +4.
• The incorrect response will result in a -1 penalty.
• There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.

CMAT 2023 Cut Off

Students will be able to check the CMAT 2023 Cut off for each participating institute separately. Each institute will publish their own category-specific cut off on their website. The NTA website will not contain any information about the cut off.

The CMAT Cut off will be available in May 2023. The cut off will be determined by various factors considered by the participating institutions, such as the difficulty level of the paper, the number of available seats, overall merit, percentage/marks secured, and so on.

Following the publication of the CMAT 2023 Result, the authorities will publish the CMAT 2023 Merit List in PDF format. The candidate's name, percentile score, and AIR will appear on the CMAT Merit List. 

CMAT 2023 Tie - Breaking Criteria 

If multiple candidates achieve the same CMAT 2023 score, the ranking will be determined using the CMAT sectional score in the following order:

• Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
• Logical Reasoning
• Language Comprehension
• General Awareness
• Innovation and Entrepreneurship

CMAT 2023 Counselling Procedure

Following the announcement of the CMAT Result 2023, candidates are invited to the following rounds of counseling:

• GD/Essay and PI. Each institute has its own selection procedure.
• Qualified candidates must visit the institutes for which they have applied in order to be considered for the final round of selection.
• Multiple rounds of selection are held on the campus of the relevant institute. 
• CMAT 2023 Result scores will be accepted by approximately 1000 AICTE Approved Institutes. 
• Candidates should keep the following points in mind regarding the CMAT 2023 selection process:
• During the selection round, a candidate's academics, work experience, CMAT score, and overall personal aptitude will be scrutinized. 
• The GD round will assess a candidate's knowledge of various topics, confidence, ability to deal with pressure, and so on.
• Based on their performance in the group discussion, candidates will be shortlisted for a personal interview round.
