The National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 Rankings were released by the Ministry of Education on August 12, 2024. As per the results, Chandigarh University has yet again, secured the 8th Rank amongst All India Private Universities. Along with this Chandigarh University has climbed up to the 32nd Rank in Engineering stream from the previous year's(2023) 38th Rank. The overall ranking of the University has also shown a significant improvement from the previous year.
Chandigarh University has secured 13th rank amongst All India Northern private as well as government-run universities. Not only this but in the North Indian Private Universities category the university is ranked in the 4th position. Among the Private Higher Educational Institutions, Chandigarh University is at the 2nd position, while confidently securing the 3rd place among all the higher education private institutes of Punjab.
