About BHU Counselling 2023
The BHU Counselling for Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) is being conducted online by the Banaras Hindu University from September 21 to October 31. Candidates can register for the BHU undergraduate admission 2022 Counselling portal at bhuonline.in before the deadline, which has been extended to October 8. The BHU Counselling UET procedure entails downloading call letters, uploading scanned documentation, entering preferences, verifying allotment, and paying the necessary seat confirmation fee. In counselling, candidates are called according to rank. The merit list that is created using the results of the entrance exam is the sole basis on which the BHU Counselling is conducted.
Based on the candidate's performance in the CUET 2022 entrance exam, the BHU UG 2022 counseling is determined. The registration for BHU UET counseling is the first step in the admissions process. Following the release of the CUET results, the students are required to register for and complete the BHU Undergraduate Counseling. For BHU counseling, the shortlisted applicants must appear at the designated time and location with their original documentation. Then, the legitimate authorities will examine the paperwork and admit the deserving applicants.

Detailed BHU Counselling Process 2023
Step 1 – BHU Registration
- Go to the official website at bhuonline.in.
- Candidates are required to log in using their CUET application ID and CUET roll number.
- Afterward, the candidate should access the BHU CSAS portal, enter the necessary information, and upload all the required documents. A preview page will then appear to confirm the information entered by the candidate.
- Candidates are expected to upload the following documents.
Step 2 - BHU Admission Fee Payment
- Admissions fees must be paid by candidates within the specified deadline. Failure to do so through the BHU online portal may result in the forfeiture of their seat.
- Payment can be made online using a credit or debit card through the BHU website's payment portal.
- Alternatively, candidates can choose to pay their fees in cash at designated counters within the counseling facility.
Step 3 - Enter Your Preferences Online
- Candidates are required to complete online preference entries to specify their choices. This applies when admissions are made for multiple courses based on the rank obtained in a common test for specific UG courses.
- For courses offered at multiple locations, candidates may also select their preferred affiliated colleges.
In the preference form, candidates must specify whether they are interested in regular fee seats or if they wish to be considered for paid seats after regular fee seats are filled.
- It is strongly recommended that candidates do not leave any checkboxes empty. Any omission will be interpreted as the candidate not having that preference.
Step 4 – Seat Allotment
- The university publishes the BHU 2023 seat allocation list for various UG courses.
- Candidates must arrive at the BHU counseling venue within the university's specified time frame.
- Upon arrival, candidates must sign an attendance form.
- The BHU 2023 merit list plays a crucial role in the seat allocation process, as candidates are invited for counseling based on their rankings.
- After confirming their preferences, candidates can submit all their BHU choices along with the necessary original documents at the verification counter in the counseling location.
Step 5 - Upgradation and Choice Locking
- Based on the online preferences provided during counseling, there may be changes in course allocation after the initial allotment. The rearrangement process allows for upward mobility in the order of preferences filled out by the candidate, provided there are vacancies and the admission fee for the initial seat allotment has been paid within the stipulated deadline.
- Candidates who do not wish to make any changes in the BHU seat allotment 2023 can lock their choices.
Step 6: Obtain a Provisional Admission Letter
- Candidates who have been provisionally admitted can collect their admission letter from the admissions officer at the counseling location on the following day, starting at 10 am.
- It is essential for students to carefully review the vital information included in the provisional BHU admission letter, such as the admission fee and payment deadline.
