What is BCECE Counselling?
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) oversees the BCECE counselling process. Beginning in August 2023, BCECEB's official website serves as the medium for BCECE counselling. Candidates who meet the criteria and are called to participate in web-counselling by registering and filling out choices will be called after being shortlisted in the merit list based on the results of BCECE 2023. BCECEB released the admission/ provisional seat allotment list for BCECE counselling.
Candidates must lock in their choice and pay the fee to reserve the designated seat. BCECE 2023 counselling has been scheduled in two rounds so far. Depending on the number of open seats, additional rounds of counselling will be announced.

Documents Required for BCECE Counselling:
The following documents are mandatory for BCECE Counselling:
- Class 12 admit card, marksheet and passing certificate
- Class 10 class admit card, marksheet and passing certificate
- BCECE Admit Card
- Caste Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Special Category Certificate
- Ex-Army Certificate
- 6 copies of photograph same as pasted on the application form
- Bonafide Certificate
BCECE Counselling Eligibility Criteria
Before registering for the BCECE Counselling round, candidates must carefully read and review all eligibility requirements. It is as follows.
- For BCECE 2023, the candidate whose name is on their merit list.
- The candidate must be an Indian national.
- They must be Bihar residents.
- B.E. / B.Tech.
- The candidate must have taken the JEE MAIN 2023 Exam.
Procedure for BCECE counselling:
Candidates must review the BCECE counselling process before enrolling in the session.
Step 1: Registration
Candidates must register for the BCECE counselling session by providing information like:
- BCECE roll number for
- The candidate's name
- birth date and
- Father's name
- Candidates then have to set a password and after registration, enter details like address, mobile number, and security question.
Step 2: Choice Filling
The following details will be shown on the screen once eligible candidates have registered and logged into their accounts:

- Provisional allotment letter
After filling all the necessary and locking the choices according to their preferences, candidates should take the printout.
Step 3: Seat allotment
- The seat allocation will be available for students to view in the online mode. Review the following points.
- The candidates' preferences, the student's merit, and the availability of seats at that particular institution will all be taken into consideration when allocating the seats.
- The candidate will receive a provisional allotment letter from the authority that will include information on the locations of the counselling sessions. The candidate must print out the same information.
Step 4: Handwriting Verification
- Candidates who meet the requirements for the exam must undergo handwriting verification during BCECE Counselling.
- The authority will examine the candidate's OMR sheet to see if their handwriting corresponds to their sample writing.
- The candidate will receive the final seat allocation letter after the authenticity has been verified.
Step 5: Final Seat Allocation
To see if they have received the final seat allotment letter, candidates must log into their accounts. (The Allotment letter will include information about the designated institute and the counselling location where documents will be verified, and applicants must pay the tuition fees to confirm their admission.)
Step 6: Document Verification and Payment of fees
- Candidates must arrive at the designated institute with all necessary documentation for verification as the last step in the BCECE counselling process.
- On the day of document verification, candidates must bring a set of original documents and a set of photocopies of these documents.
- In order to secure their admission, candidates must pay the institute's tuition.
BCECE Cutoff Rank 2023
The board will prepare and publish the BCECE Cutofffor all qualified applicants. The minimum score needed to be admitted to a particular course and institution is known as the BCECE 2023 cut-off. This implies that a candidate will not be admitted to a desirable college and course if they receive fewer marks than the BCECE Cut-off.

Steps to check BCECE Result 2023?
Candidates can follow the steps below to check their BCECE 2023 result:
- Go to bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, the BCECE's official website.
- The link that says "Download Rank Card of BCECE-2023" should be clicked.
- A new page will be opened for you
- Choose the course in which you have enrolled.
- Enter the requested login information, such as your date of birth and register roll number.
- Results are displayed on the screen.
BCECE 2023 Rank Card
A separate rank card will be supplied for the PCB and PCM groups.
- To check their rankings, candidates must provide their roll number and date of birth.
- In addition to the merit list, the board will also release the candidate rankings.
- The candidate's name, roll number, qualifying status, overall score, sectional score, and merit rank are all listed on the rank card.
- On the day of counselling, candidates must present their rank cards for the document verification process.
- Candidates are urged to contact the official authorities for the necessary corrections in the event of any discrepancy.
Guidelines for BCECE 2023 Result
In the event that two or more candidates in BCECE 2023 receive identical scores, the following tie-breaking rules will be applied by the authorities in the following order:
- A higher rank will be given to the person who scored higher in math.
- If two applicants received the same marks in mathematics, the candidate with the higher physics score will be placed higher in the rankings.
- In the event that two candidates received the same scores in physics, the candidate who is older will be given preference.
