What is AP ECET 2023 ?

The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is administered by JNTU, Ananthapur on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam serves as a gateway for Diploma holders in Engineering Technology/ Pharmacy and BSc Graduates to seek admission under the lateral entry scheme to the second year of BE/ BTech/ BPharmacy Programs offered at Universities and AICTE/PCI approved Institutions in Andhra Pradesh.

AP ECET 2023 Eligibility

The following are the eligibility requirements for taking the AP ECET 2023:

• Academic qualification: Candidates must hold a diploma in engineering and technology or pharmacy from the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education, or any other diploma from a recognized AICTE institution under the state government. 
• Alternatively, candidates must have completed a three-year graduate degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a state-recognized university.
• Diploma candidates are also eligible if they complete and pass the course prior to admission.
• Minimum qualifying marks: For entry into relevant courses, Diploma holders must have at least 45% (40% in the case of the reserved category).
• Nationality: Candidates must be of Indian descent.
• Domicile: They should be from the state of Andhra Pradesh. They must meet the state government's requirements for local/non-local status. If they are not of Indian origin, they must follow the University's rules.

AP ECET 2023 Application Form

• Candidates will be able to access the AP ECET 2023 application form online in order to participate in the entrance exam.
• Candidates must register, fill out the required information, upload scanned documents, and pay the fee during the AP ECET application process.
• The AP ECET 2023 exam center must be chosen in the order of preference.
• After the registration process is completed, registered candidates will be able to edit/modify their submitted details in the correction facility. 

AP ECET 2023 Application Fee 

The application fee for AP ECET 2023 for this session will be INR 500 for Engineering, Pharmacy, and B.Sc. The payment can be made in one of two ways:

• AP Online by Cash
• Credit/Debit card/ Net Banking

AP ECET 2023 Application Form Correction 

The AP ECET 2023 application form will be available on the online website. Any candidate who wishes to make changes to their application form may do so. Certain dates will be announced in order to correct the application form.  

Make certain that you only correct your application form on those dates. After you have done your corrections make sure to double check it.

AP ECET 2023 Exam Pattern 

The pattern of the exam or the question paper is referred to as the exam pattern. AP ECET 2023 Answer Key

The AP ECET answer key 2023 will be released a few days after the examination is completed. Candidates will be able to calculate their probable secured scores in the entrance examination by checking the correct answers to the question paper using the AP ECET 2023 answer key. For a limited time, the authorities will also accept objections to the provisional AP ECET answer key. The final answer key will be released after the authorities have reviewed the objections.

AP ECET 2023 Counselling

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will be able to participate in the AP ECET 2023 counseling. To participate in the AP ECET 2023 counselling, candidates must pay a fee and select their preferred colleges and courses. AP ECET 2023 seat allotment results will be announced online. The selected candidates must confirm their admission before the deadline. 

Candidates for the AP ECET must first register and complete the document verification process at the various helpline centers. The counseling process is divided into four steps:

Step 1: Register for Certificate Verification

Candidates must report to the corresponding helpline center at 9:00 a.m. on the scheduled day for registration based on their AP ECET 2023 rank. They must carry all necessary documentation. The following steps must be taken.

• Submit your AP ECET Rank Card to the officer at the door.
• Pay the counseling fee (INR 1200/- for general/OBC and INR 600/- for SC/ST).
• Obtain the Registration/Verification form, fill in the required information, and submit.
• Keep an eye out for the rank announcement.

Step 2: Fee Payment

After registering, candidates must pay the AP ECET 2023 counselling fee online, via net banking/credit card/debit card. Following payment, candidates will be able to check their payment status online.

Step 3: Verification of the Certificate 

• When the rank is announced, candidates must proceed to the designated counter to submit all required documents.
• A receipt is issued after the authority has completed the verification of all documents.
• This Registration Receipt includes the Registration ID and Password needed to access the Web Counselling Portal.
• The following documents must be scanned and uploaded:
  • AP ECET 2023 Rank card
  • AP ECET 2023 Hall Ticket
  • Memorandum of Marks ( all three years for diploma holders and all two years for pharmacy)
  • Provisional Diploma Certificate.
  • Proof of Date of Birth (SSC or its Equivalent).
  • Study Certificate from IV to Diploma
  • Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the Qualifying examination i.e. Diploma.
  • Andhra Pradesh Residence Certificate of father/mother for a period of 10 years excluding the period of employment outside Andhra Pradesh from Tahsildar in respect of Non-Local Candidates.
  • Aadhar card
  • Integrated Community Certificate, in the case of BC/ST/SC issued by the competent authority
  • Income certificate of parents from all sources issued on or after 01.01.2019.

Step 4: AP ECET 2023 Web Counselling

• Web counselling is the third and final stage of the AP ECET 2023 counselling procedure.
• Candidates can use their Registration ID and Password to access the official web counseling portal.
• Candidates must carefully follow the instructions, select the courses and colleges of their choice, and submit.
• After the authorities have completed the allotment process, candidates will be notified via SMS and email of their seat allocation.

• To prepare for the entrance exam, practice more and solve previous year's question papers.
