All India Council for Technical Education is a national-level advisory body, that is responsible for circulating technical education in India. The AICTE also provides licenses to colleges and institutions which are involved in technical education. Along with issuing licenses, it also provides scholarships and fellowships to eligible students who want to pursue a technical degree course. The AICTE scholarship helps both admirable and exemplary students to pursue higher studies without any financial restrictions.
AICTE Scholarship consists of several scholarships for students of India to assist them in higher education without any financial problems. Some recognised scholarships are mentioned below:
Every AICTE Scholarship has its own set of eligibility criteria that all aspiring students need to keep in mind while applying. Like Saksham scholarships are open for candidates with disabilities, the Pragati Scholarship focuses on helping female candidates. Like them, there are other scholarships too. The eligibility criteria for all the AICTE Scholarship are mentioned below:

AICTE-Saksham Scholarship Scheme
·The scholarship is open for differently-abled students who have a disability of not less than 40%.
·The students must be admitted in the first year or second year(through lateral entry) of a technical diploma/degree course at an AICTE-recognised institution.
·The annual income of the family should be less than ₹8,00,000 from all sources.
AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls
·The scholarship is open for female candidates who have been admitted to the first year or second year (through lateral entry) of a technical diploma/degree course at an AICTE-approved institution/college.
·
The annual income of the family should not be more than ₹8,00,000.
·Only two females per family can apply for the scholarship.
AICTE PG (GATE/GPAT) Scholarship
·The students who have obtained qualifying marks in GATE/GPAT can apply.
·The students must have taken admission in the first year of M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharma./M.Arch Courses at an AICTE-recognised institution/college.
·Having a general savings account is also mandatory for students.
The fellowship is open to research scholars who have been admitted to an AICTE-recognised research institute.
·The minimum CGPA score obtained by the student in both B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharm. and M.E./M.Tech./M. Pharm. should be 7.5 on the scale of 10 or 75% or above or equivalent. (Note: For SC/ST/PH candidates the CGPA requirement is 7.0 on the scale of 10 or 70% or above or equivalent).
·The student must have qualified for the GATE/GPAT during the last 5 years.

The age of the student should be less than 30 years as of the last date of the application.
(Note: A relaxation of 5 years is given to SC/ST/Women/PH candidates.
Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS), J&K
·Only students, who are domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir can apply for this scholarship.
·They must be Class 12 passed students from J&K Board or CBSE-affiliated schools in J&K.
·The students who have completed their diploma after Class 10 from J&K State Polytechnics can also apply and get direct entry into the degree program on the vacant seats in the professional category.
·The students must be willing to pursue a regular
general/professional/medical degree course from the prescribed list of colleges in PMSSS outside the state.
·The annual income of the family should be ₹8,00,000 or below.

concerned departments.
The final selection will be made based on recommendations of various institutions by the National Nodal Centre.
Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS), J&K
The scholars will be selected on a merit basis as per the marks obtained by them through online counselling from PMSSS portal.
