What is AAU VET?

Assam Agricultural University Veterinary Entrance Test (AAU VET) is a state-level entrance examination administered by the Assam Agricultural University to students seeking admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.

AAU VET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The Assam Agricultural University developed the AAU VET 2023 Eligibility Criteria. Applicants planning to take AAU VET 2023 must first determine whether they meet all of the AAU VET 2023 eligibility criteria outlined in the entrance examination. Candidates should view the eligibility criteria listed below.

BVSc & AH program

• Qualifications: Candidates must have completed class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Agriculture as main subjects from a recognized board, including NIOS.
• Marks: Candidates in the General/OBC/UPS category must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, while those in the SC/ST/DAC category must have a minimum of 40% aggregate.
• Age limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old and no older than 25 years old on or before December 31, 2023.

MVSc program

• Qualifications: A candidate must have a B.Sc. (Agri)/ B.Sc. (Hort.)/ B.Sc. (Seri.)/ B.Sc. (Agri. Biotech)/ B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture/ Horticulture/ B.Sc. (Hons) Community Science/ B.F.Sc./ B.Tech (Fishery Science) of 4 years duration/ B.V.
• Marks: Candidates must have a CGPA of 2.60/4.00 scale or 3.25/5.00 scale or 6.60/10.00 scale for Gen/OBC/UPS and 2.20/4.00 scale or 2.75/5.00 scale or 5.60/10.00 for SC/ST/DAC.
• If no grade points are awarded, the candidate must have a minimum of 60% in the General/OBC/UPS category and 50% in the SC/ST/DAC category.

AAU VET 2023 Application Form

The application form will be available on the AAU's official website on July 31, 2023 (tentative). Candidates who are interested and eligible must submit the AAU VET 2023 Application Form before the deadline.

• The following are the steps to filling out and submitting the AAU VET 2023 Application Form:
• Visit the Assam Agricultural University's official website (aau.ac.in).
• Enter your name, date of birth, email address, and phone number to register. Candidates will receive their login ID via email.
• Log in with your user ID and password.
• Fill out the online AAU VET 2023 Application Form.
• Fill out the application form with your personal and educational information.
• Upload a scanned passport-size photo as well as a scanned signature in jpeg format.
• Candidates must upload documents with the dimensions and sizes listed below AAU VET Application Form 2023:

• Upload your educational certificates as well as your Assam residency certificate.
• Check that all of the information on the application form is correct.
• Fill out the application form and submit it.
• Pay the INR 1100 application fee via an online payment gateway.
  • Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the registration fee online (via credit card, debit card, or net banking). Candidates will receive an SMS confirming payment receipt from AAUADM.
• Candidates will receive notification of successful online registration via email or SMS.
• Candidates must keep in mind that once they have submitted their application form and paid the application fee, no changes can be made. The AAU VET 2023 application fee is non-refundable.

AAU VET 2023 Admit Card

The AAU VET admit card 2023 will be distributed online by the authority. Candidates who receive confirmation of their application form's successful submission will be able to download their admit card.

How to Download the AAU VET Admit Card?

• Visit AAU's official website at aau.ac.in.
• Click on the 'VET 2023 Admit Card' link.
• Enter your user ID and password to log in.
• Enter your application number and birth date.
• Click the'submit' button.
• The AAU VET 2023 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
• Print the admit card after downloading it.

Candidates must follow all of the rules outlined on their admit card in order to avoid problems on the day of AAU VET 2023. In addition to the hard copy of the admit card, candidates must bring one of the following documents to the exam center as identification:

• Voter ID Card
• PAN Card
• Aadhaar Card
• Passport
• Driving License

What to Bring to the AAU VET 2023 Examination Hall?

The following documents must be brought to the examination hall:

• Registered candidates must bring a hard copy of their admit card.
• Candidates must bring any government-issued identification documents (such as an Aadhar card, a PAN card, a voter card, and so on).
• Candidates must also bring their photographs to the exam. 

What Not of Bring to the AAU VET 2023 Examination Hall?

The following items are not permitted in the examination hall; if a candidate is found with such prohibited items in the examination hall, he or she may be barred from taking the examination.

• The use of mobile phones is prohibited in the AAU VET 2023 examination hall.
• Registered candidates must ensure that they do not bring any type of paper or cheating devices to the examination hall.
• Any electronic device, including smartwatches (except those used for medical purposes), is not permitted in the examination hall.

Assam Agricultural University will publish the AAU VET Results 2023 on their official website. AAU VET Results 2023 can be found on the official website of Assam Agriculture University. The merit list is determined by the participants' ranks. Candidates can download the results and scorecard from the website by following the steps. 

Once the authority has announced the AAU VET 2023 merit list, it will be posted on the official website for all candidates.

AAU VET 2023 Counselling

AAU will contact candidates who qualify for AAU VET 2023 for counseling. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be eligible to participate in the AAU VET 2023 Counseling. The following documents must be carried by candidates on the day of counseling:
